The Joey English Show Radio Interview With The Orlins About Something To Entertain You

Joey English with Jon and Mary Orlin at radio show taping

Mary and Jon Orlin appeared on The Joey English Show on March 22 to discuss Something To Entertain You.

Joey, known as "The Voice of the Desert," hosts the longest running continuous radio show in the Coachella Valley.

In the 11-minute segment, Mary and Jon talk about their first encounter with artists Karen and Tony Barone at their unique home.

Joey was surprised Karen and Tony allowed the Orlins to have full editorial control of the film.

They also discuss how the enduring love between Karen and Tony is one of the key themes in the film and explain why both audiences who already know the Barones and those who don't will likely find surprises.

The radio segment aired live on 100.9 FM and 95.9 HD4, where Joey hosts her weekly show Sundays at 3 PM.

Before her radio show, Joey spent 27 years singing as an opening act for stars including George Burns, Bob Hope, Milton Berle, and Rodney Dangerfield. In the interview, she shares some advice George Burns gave her.
